1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ThermaPath ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ThermaPath is a sauna session tracking app. It allows you to log sessions, follow science-backed protocols, and track your progress over time.

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without prior notice.

3. Health Disclaimer

Important: ThermaPath provides general wellness information for informational purposes only. The app is not a medical device, and nothing in the app constitutes medical advice.

You are solely responsible for your health decisions
Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any heat exposure protocol, especially if you have cardiovascular conditions, are pregnant, or have other health concerns
The protocols in ThermaPath are based on publicly available research — they are not personalized medical guidance
Stop any session immediately if you feel unwell

4. Account Responsibilities

You must provide a valid email address to create an account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You must be at least 13 years old to use ThermaPath
You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service
Impersonate other users or entities

6. Subscriptions & Payments

ThermaPath offers optional paid subscriptions for premium features. By subscribing:

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your billing details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us.
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
You can cancel anytime; your access continues until the end of the current billing period
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as-is." We may:

Perform maintenance that temporarily makes the Service unavailable
Modify or discontinue any feature or the entire Service
Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and protocols provided by ThermaPath are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You retain ownership of the session data you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThermaPath and its operators shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or service interruptions
Any injury or health outcome resulting from following protocols in the app

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ThermaPath is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
